Point 01 · Economic Vitality
Growing a Creative Economy
Strengthening the existing economic base of our historic district while expanding and diversifying it — supporting entrepreneurs, filling vacancies, and growing local business.
Active Work
From glassblowing and fine art to handmade goods and artisan crafts, our Creative Economy strategy supports local makers and develops studio and retail space in the historic district.

Restoring Our Historic District
Enhancing the physical and visual assets of the Main Street Historic District — from building facades and storefronts to public spaces and streetscapes — to create an inviting, authentic downtown.

Our Tourism Development strategy leverages world-class trout fishing, disc golf, and Ozark heritage to extend visitor stays and grow overnight lodging along the White River corridor.

Serving as a welcoming ambassador for our community, Bambi brings a lifetime of experience as a law firm manager, marketing specialist, and nonprofit volunteer coordinator. Her mission is to bring our community together, grow our local economy, and share the stories of our people.

Living Windows

Calico Rock's most beloved holiday tradition — every December.

Downtown storefronts come alive with live tableaux, costumed performers, music, and community celebration. Every year, Living Windows draws visitors from across the region and showcases the warmth and creativity at the heart of our historic Main Street district.
